Rheinmetall is one of the world's foremost makers of advanced air defence systems, especially in the field of ground-based cannon-based air defence. This includes the increasingly important protection against small and micro drones – including swarm attacks.
Integrated Electronic Systems
The battlefield of the future also includes cyberspace. In future, soldiers, vehicles and (partially) autonomous systems such as drones or ground robots will operate in an interconnected, fully digitalised and highly automated combat network. Rheinmetall offers solutions in this area to ensure information superiority and higher response speeds – the system parameters that are crucial for mission success. This also includes simulation systems for modern and holistic training.
Aeronautical Systems
Rheinmetall has also proven itself as an innovative partner to the German Air Force by taking over the inspection, maintenance, repair and overhaul of the CH-53G fleet. Furthermore, Rheinmetall is involved in the global F-35 armament programme together with its US partners Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin and will contribute to the modernisation of the German Air Force and friendly armed forces through the production of F-35A fuselage centre sections.Products & Airborne Solutions
