BVB comes from the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia and stands for the pursuit of top performance and international success like hardly any other German club. Rheinmetall is deeply rooted in the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region and wants to raise the international profile of its brand as a technology group and attractive employer. The sponsorship will run until 2027 and includes the use of advertising space and marketing rights as well as event and hospitality offers in the stadium and on the club grounds.

Rheinmetall will be present at home games on under-ice surfaces, on boards and on other advertising spaces. With this commitment, Rheinmetall is emphasising its close ties with the North Rhine-Westphalian state capital.
D.SPORTS
Rheinmetall is an official partner of the sports city of Düsseldorf
The DAX-listed Rheinmetall Group has its roots in the state capital, which also hosts numerous high-calibre sporting events every year. The partnership with D.SPORTS is aimed at supporting these highly publicised major events as well as popular sport for the urban community. It is also, of course, about promoting top-class sport in the city, the athletes and their respective clubs.
Borussia Düsseldorf

Bergischer Handball-Club 06 e.V. (BHC)
Rheinmetall is Premium-Partner of Bergischen Handball-Clubs 06 e.V. (BHC).
The partnership with the handball club BHC is expressed in joint appearances and campaigns. The Raceyard team has been building racing cars since 2005 and competed with its first fully electric vehicle in 2012. The Raceyard team is made up entirely of students and, in addition to building electric racing cars, works on designs for the driverless class, i.e. the class for autonomous vehicles. Bodensee Racing Team
Rheinmetall also on board the Formula Student University racing team from Constance
From Rheinmetall's point of view, Formula Student offers the perfect combination of promoting young talent, competition and creative engineering. This is why the technology group also sponsors the Bodensee Racing Team from Constance: a team consisting of over 60 students who are passionate about their work. To ensure success, the team consists not only of technicians, but also of functions that are not directly related to the vehicle, such as sponsorship or finance and controlling.

Rheinmetall is aware of its historical responsibility towards Israel and is fully committed to the Jewish state's right to exist. As the company also maintains relations with Arab states, Rheinmetall particularly welcomes the Institute's dialogue-oriented approach.
Historical research, remembrance and coming to terms with National Socialism
Rheinmetall acknowledges its responsibility
As a German defence company, we see ourselves as having a special responsibility to contribute to the culture of remembrance and commemoration in the context of the Second World War. We have analysed and documented our role and our misconduct during the Nazi era. The resulting historical documents on the subject of forced labour are available to researchers and interested parties in the Düsseldorf City Archive and Rheinmetall's central archive. In the course of these reappraisal projects, various memorials were also created not far from the Rheinmetall headquarters in the Düsseldorf districts of Derendorf and Grafenberg to commemorate the Nazi injustice. A memorial was also erected at the Unterlüß production site to raise awareness of the inhumane living conditions of Nazi forced labourers.
Furthermore, in cooperation with the Düsseldorf memorial site, we were able to enable former forced labourers from Poland to visit the former Rheinmetall-Borsig AG factory site.

YOU Stiftung
Rheinmetall donation for humanitarian emergency aid in Israel and Gaza
Rheinmetall has donated 10,000 euros to the YOU Foundation.
Following the brutal attack on Israel by the terrorist Hamas, this emergency aid program provided hot meals to resettled children from the border areas. This helped to safeguard their health. It brought some stability to everyday life in the temporary shelters. Thanks to the financial support, over 2,000 hot meals were distributed to children. Many of them have been separated from their families or are grieving. The donation made it possible to provide nutritious and healthy meals in the midst of war. Children in Gaza were also supported with this humanitarian emergency aid until the end of April 2024 - food for over 1,000 starving children and orphans was distributed.
