Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land Limited (RBSL) is a UK-based defence engineering company. RBSL design, manufacture and support a wide range of military vehicles used by the British Army and international customers. As a Joint Venture, RBSL combines Rheinmetall’s military vehicles technology and products, with the capabilities and products from BAE Systems.
Headquartered in Telford in the West Midlands, RBSL employs a skilled workforce of more than 700 employees, including 300 engineers, across UK sites in Telford, Gateshead, Bristol, and Bovington.
RBSL are at the heart of the UK MOD’s Mechanised Infantry Vehicle programme, producing roughly half of the British Army’s 500 Boxer 8x8 wheeled vehicles. RBSL is delivering the UK MOD’s Challenger 3 programme, a vehicle which is critical to the Army’s warfighting capability and the UK’s contribution to NATO deterrence. RBSL continues to provide in-service support to the British Army’s armoured vehicle fleets.
