As part of technical project management, you will be responsible for the technical success of the respective projects in the field of maritime simulation. We are a manufacturer of training simulators for individual and team training of marines and ship crews for a wide variety of ship types (submarines, frigates, corvettes). For our national and international customers we offer training solutions for situational awareness, situation assessment, decision-making, sensor and weapon deployment planning, tactical procedures or operator training.
In the role of Technical Project Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical management of development teams as well as conceptual collaboration in the project.
Your tasks:
- Coordination of development activities within the team and the specialist departments involved in the projects
- Responsibility for carrying out technical management as part of proposal processing and system development
- Creation of concepts for systems and subsystems as well as the associated specifications
- Presenting technical offers and concepts to customers on site
- Negotiating technical content with customers, partners and suppliers
- Carrying out requirements analyses and responsibility for requirements management
- Definition, planning and control of work packages for teams and subcontractors (IST/SOLL)
- Completed studies in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or comparable
- Several years of experience in the role of project manager in a development-related environment or from a career in the German Armed Forces. Alternatively, experience as a system developer (m/f/d) with the desire to take the next career step towards project management
- System understanding in the field of naval vessels is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for modern technologies, software products and maritime topics
- Fluent written and spoken English and German
- Willingness to travel worldwide (usually max. two weeks at a time)
