Professor Dr Hannemann is not a member of any other statutory Supervisory Boards or comparable control committees of commercial enterprises in Germany or abroad.


Professor Susanne Hannemann studied economics at Ruhr University Bochum from 1983 to 1988 and did her doctorate at the Finance and Credit Chair. Stints in her professional career included work at Berliner Bank (1993/1994) and Arthur Andersen (1994 to 1998). In 1998, she was appointed tax advisor. In 1999, she went to PriceWaterhouseCoopers and was promoted to partner there in 2001. From 2003 to 2007, Professor Susanne Hannemann ran the Tax Department at Rheinmetall AG. Since March 2007, she has been a professor teaching general business management at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, particularly operational tax studies and auditing.

Professor Susanne Hannemann was a member of the Tax Committee at the Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. (BDI) from 2003 to 2007. Since 2009, she has been a member of the Testing Committee for Auditors at the Wirtschaftsprüferkammer in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 2010, she has chaired Testing Committee II (International Bachelor Degree Programs and Masters Programs) at the Economics Department at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences.
