WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Technical Trainer is responsible for the compilation and development of training documentation and material. Plan, arrange and facilitate training courses for operational personnel.
- Develop and compile training documentation and material
- Plan and prepare training schedules, facilities equipment and resources
- Assist to identify training and development needs and revise programmes as necessary
- Facilitate and control training sessions and activities.
- Conduct training assessments; invigilation of assessments
- Monitor review and report the progress of training.
- Complete training administration.
- Provide inputs for budget planning for training schedules.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications.
- ETD practitioner qualifications with proven experience as a Training Facilitator and/or Assessor required.
- Qualifications and/or short courses in Explosives and Ammunition required.
- At least 4 years’ experience in ammunition or explosives manufacturing environment.
- Experience in compilation and development of training documentation and material required.
- Advanced computer skills, with at least 5 years’ experience in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the manufacturing of explosives and ammunition, preferably in a supervisory role, will be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license
