Technical Trainer

The Technical Trainer is responsible for the compilation and development of training documentation and material. Plan, arrange and facilitate training courses for operational personnel.

• Develop and compile training documentation and material
• Plan and prepare training schedules, facilities equipment and resources
• Assist to identify training and development needs and revise programmes as necessary
• Facilitate and control training sessions and activities.
• Conduct training assessments; invigilation of assessments
• Monitor review and report the progress of training.
• Complete training administration.
• Provide inputs for budget planning for training schedules.

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications.
• ETD practitioner qualifications with proven experience as a Training Facilitator and/or Assessor required.
• Qualifications and/or short courses in Explosives and Ammunition required.
• At least 4 years’ experience in ammunition or explosives manufacturing environment.
• Experience in compilation and development of training documentation and material required.
• Advanced computer skills, with at least 5 years’ experience in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in the manufacturing of explosives and ammunition, preferably in a supervisory role, will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license
