WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH applies cutting-edge methods and modern systems engineering techniques in the field of digital architecture to the development of our military land vehicles.

The EDA department analyzes, specifies and designs electrical and electronic components for our tactical vehicles based on features and functions in order to achieve maximum modular, scalable system development.

As a senior electrical/electronic systems engineer, you will work at both the customer and system level, as well as at the subsystem level of the entire vehicle:

  • Development and ownership of vehicle features at system level
  • Analysis and assignment of stakeholder requirements (customers, standards) for the respective (sub-)system specifications
  • Creation of (sub-)system specifications and interface documents
  • Implementation of requirements from the areas of system safety and cybersecurity in the (sub-)system specifications
  • Support in the further development of modularization and scalability of system architectures for Rheinmetall land vehicles
  • Commissioning and monitoring of subcontractors for external allocation of system activities at (sub-)system level
  • Coordination with the system lead engineer, system team and specialist departments for the technical implementation of features down to the sub-sub-system level
  • Adherence to the Rheinmetall development process according to the V-model
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • University degree in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or comparable
  • Experience in requirements management and system requirements for mechatronic products
  • Experience with DOORS/DOORS NG and use case analysis with UML/SysML
  • Experience in system architectures
  • Experience in system development according to the V-model and with military or automotive standards is an advantage
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, assertiveness and resilience as well as a confident manner
  • Experience in working in the field of system safety & cybersecurity
  • Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
