We are looking for a Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the Automation field of the Rheinmetall Technology Center to join our team for the development of remote control of mobile platforms.

  • Collecting technical requirements for sub-systems and software components
  • Design, development and testing of software components
  • Support with integration and commissioning in the SiL- and HiL- environment, as well as in the target system
  • Documentation of the components for which you are responsible
  • Experience in the procedure according to ISO 26262
WAS SIE MITBRINGEN SOLLTEN
  • Successfully completed engineering studies, ideally with a focus on mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of embedded systems or as a research assistant (m/f/d) in relevant specialist areas
  • Very good programming and design skills in an object-oriented programming language
  • Experience in the areas of UI/UX design and embedded Linux
  • Experience in the field of condition safety, driver assistance and automation
  • Experience with communication architectures in vehicle technology
  • A good technical understanding as well as curiosity and enthusiasm for future technologies and mobility solutions
  • Very good written and spoken German and English knowledge
