Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH (RLS) is one of the world's leading suppliers of armoured tracked and wheeled vehicles, turret systems and NBC reconnaissance systems. The company forms the Tactical Vehicles business unit, and is responsible for sales, development, production, and order and service processing.
In the Tracked Vehicles segment, the portfolio ranges from comprehensive main battle tank systems expertise to the pioneering Lynx combat vehicle and the highly agile Puma* infantry fighting vehicle, as well as reliable support vehicles such as the Kodiak armoured engineer vehicle and the Büffel armoured recovery vehicle. Furthermore, RLS is home to well-known and tried-and-tested tactical wheeled vehicles such as the Fuchs, the Boxer* and the Survivor R*.
Our customer-oriented service portfolio ensures that all products supplied by Rheinmetall Landsysteme are typified by excellent operational readiness and a long service life. The company's system logistic encompasses training, technical documentation and logistic support analysis, as well as the supply of spare parts, maintenance and repair–all of which are availible both in Germany and abroad, including on Nato and UN missions in crisis regions and global trouble spots. As a member of the new company HIL Heeresinstandsetzungslogistik GmbH, Rheinmetall Landsysteme is responsible for maintaining and repairing selected vehicles and weapons systems of the German Army.
In addition to its headquarters in Unterlüß, the company has production facilities in Kassel, Kiel, Flensburg and Hamburg. They all provide the system specialist with optimum infrastructure for development and testing, production, quality assurance, sales, logistics and customer service.
