Armin Papperger (born 1963) is as of 1 January 2013 Rheinmetall AG's Chairman. After graduating in Engineering, Papperger began his career in 1990 in quality management in the Rheinmetall Defence Group. From 2001 on, he was managing director of various Defence subsidiaries. In July 2007, Papperger was also appointed head of the Weapon and Munitions division. In early 2010, he took on responsibility for both the Vehicle Systems and the Weapon and Munitions division on the Management Board Defence.

Dr. Ursula Biernert-Kloß is Member of the Executive Board of Rheinmetall AG.
After completing her doctorate in 1998, Dr. Biernert-Kloß began her career as Head of the International Assignments department at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg. At the beginning of 2001, she moved to Porsche AG in Stuttgart as Head of Human Resources Subsidiaries & International Assignments.

Dr. Biernert-Kloß continued her career from 2009 at the technology group Thales as Vice President Human Resources & Communications. In April 2013, she became Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director at DB Cargo.

In 2022, Dr. Ursula Bienert returned to the automotive industry: she took on a position on the Executive Board of global automotive supplier Leoni AG. Her roles there included Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director.

After leaving her position as Vice President HR & Communications, Dr. Biernert-Kloß was a member of the Supervisory Board at Thales for eleven years, as well as chairwoman and member of various other supervisory boards and associations, a member of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Rentenversicherung Nordbayern and an honorary judge at the Labour Court.

Dagmar Steinert is CFO of Rheinmetall AG.

After studying business management at the University of Cologne and graduating as a business administrator, Dagmar Steinert worked for various audit firms, most recently for PriceWaterhouseCoopers. During this time, she completed professional exams as a tax consultant and chartered accountant.

In 2003, she joined Rheinmetall AG and worked there for ten years as the Head of Accounting. From 2008, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of KSPG and remained in this role until the end of 2015, even after leaving Rheinmetall.

In April 2013, Ms Steinert joined Fuchs Petrolub SE in Mannheim. After just under three years as Head of Investor Relations, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Her responsibilities included Finance, Controlling, Tax, Legal and Compliance, Internal Audit, Investor Relations as well as digitalisation (IT, ERP systems, big data, etc.).

On 1 December 2022, Ms Steinert was appointed to the Executive Board of Rheinmetall AG. As the CFO, she is responsible for the Finance division.
