Investmenst in the future - Rheinmetall MAN in Vienna establishes “Foreman Talent Pool” to secure skilled labour
In times of demographic change and an increasingly challenging labour market, it is more important than ever to invest in the training and development of our own workforce. With this in mind, Rheinmetall MAN in Vienna has set itself an ambitious goal: to establish a foreman talent pool in order to secure the next generation of foremen internally in the long term.
Currently, 15 motivated employees are completing the twelve-month foreman training program with a focus on mechanical engineering and motor vehicles.

Military trucks produced in Vienna set the international standard for quality in army logistics. Nor is it just their maker, Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles, that’s pleased to see the Austrian Army now procuring large numbers of these locally built trucks.
The Scandinavian Challenge
Two nations, one contract: Norway and Sweden ordered 650 trucks and trailers from Rheinmetall Military Vehicles. The challenge wasn’t so much the large volume: it was the need for 42 different variants that turned this into a mammoth production and processing project.
