WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a development engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the holistic mechanical integration of scaffolding kits in military vehicles.
Your tasks will include the following:

  • Realization of customer-specific projects in compliance with internal design guidelines and customer specification requirements (m/f/d) in an interdisciplinary team
  • Support and supervision of internal and external design engineers (m/f/d) with regard to the realization of sub-projects
  • Integration of electrical components
  • Creation of design concepts for the scaffolding kits to be integrated
  • Independent creation of design documents, documentation, calculations, production-ready individual and assembly drawings
  • Carrying out feasibility studies and technical analyses for new projects
  • Supporting the team leader (m/f/d) in the creation of work packages
  • Initiating, supporting and documenting the verification and validation of designs
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Degree in mechanical engineering/mechatronics with a focus on automotive engineering, electrical engineering or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of design with a focus on sheet metal/bending designs
  • Knowledge in the control of external companies is an advantage
  • Confident handling of CAD programs, e.g. Siemens NX, CATIA or similar
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
  • Strong ability to work in a team and independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
