Assistant to the Managing Director (m/f/d)

• Assist in the preparation of relevant materials for board meetings, conference preparations, simultaneous translation (German – Mandarin) and other related matters
• Assist in preparing materials for specific projects, conferences, speeches and other activities
• Effectively prepare daily business documents and presentations
• Translation work for meetings (Mandarin, English and German language required)
• Translation and coordination of key documents, meetings and travel arrangements for management and key visitors
• Assist our Chinese managing director in other tasks that arise

• Completed training in the commercial sector (e.g. as a foreign language correspondent) with at least 3 years of professional experience or a degree in communication sciences, Chinese studies, business administration or similar
• First professional experience in an assistant function
• Ability to speak and write in three languages (at least C1 level): Mandarin, English and German
• Very good MS Office skills
• Structured, solution-oriented and responsible way of working in an intercultural working environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Strong communication skills, very good manners and very good knowledge of Chinese and German culture
