Department Head of Production (m/f/d)

• Management and coordination of production areas
• Pursuing production targets and striving to achieve them. Improving the production process and taking measures to make it more efficient
• Implementing health and safety measures, observing and enforcing rules
• Preparing annual cost, capacity and headcount plans
• Monitoring of the associated cost centres. Management of orders, keeping the cost plan in mind
• Motivating and coordinating the teams in the departments to which he/she is assigned
• Participating in the recruitment and selection of new employees
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports, monitoring and documenting time data
• Professional and disciplinary management of the production department
• Organising training and development sessions, providing regular feedback to the organisation based on objective criteria
• Regular communication with subordinate managers. Conduct and document evaluations according to objective criteria
• Establish and enforce procedures. Introduction, implementation and enforcement of process specifications from other areas
• Achieve production ready status, maintain orderliness of production
• Organising, managing, supervising and actively participating in projects to support and improve production. Document and present results
• Liaising with external partners such as suppliers' representatives, on-site service providers, customer representatives

• Completed studies in mechanical, mechatronic and automotive engineering or at least 5 years of professional experience
• At least 3 years of management experience in vehicle (component) production
• SAP, MS Office user level. Teamcenter, HCL Notes knowledge an advantage
• Analytical mindset and ability to work independently and responsibly
• Leadership and communication skills
• Experience in recruitment

• Fluency in Hungarian and in English or German, written and spoken
