Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

• Performing analyses at system level and specifying requirements at subsystem level, taking into account the overall system design
• Technical consideration of requirements at system level
• Definition of weight specifications for installation spaces and functions as well as coordination and checking of weight specifications for all assemblies and components
• Responsible for the creation of 3D CAD concepts at system level
• Development and coordination of work packages for the creation of quantity structures and their verification
• Accompanying technical offer negotiations
• Cross-functional safeguarding with the relevant technical experts for FEA, EMC, human factors, safety, environment and legislation
• Supporting and contributing to planning, controlling and reporting with regard to budget/costs, timeline and quality/maturity level

The position can also be filled at our locations in Unterlüß or Hamburg.

• Completed (technical) university degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, aerospace or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the development of complete systems
• Experience in the defense, automotive or aerospace industry is an advantage
• Good knowledge of DOORS, PLM and MS Office
• Analytical way of thinking and an independent way of working
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel occasionally
