- Responsibility for risk management (safety management) in vehicle development projects
- Creation of independent assessments of system safety
- Moderation and coordination with specialist departments and customers
- Presentation of results to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintenance, development and communication of system safety processes and methods
- Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, natural sciences or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Experience in project management
- Military background an advantage
- Knowledge of basic system safety standards and guidelines (MIL-STD-882E, IEC 61508) desirable
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Moderation skills, independence and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Willingness to travel occasionally
