IT Manager (m/f/d)

As IT Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the entire IT operation of RAM and play a key role in developing an IT strategy! Your tasks will inculde:

• Leadership and development a highly qualified IT team, including performance evaluation
• Development and implementation of a comprehensive IT strategy that takes into account both the current and future requirements of the company in international projects with a military background
• Implementation of IT projects as well as management and optimization of the entire IT infrastructure
• Ensuring IT compliance with national and international defense regulations and standards and incorporating military IT standards and guidelines
• Management and monitoring of the entire operational level in the IT area
• Conduction and support of regular security reviews and audits and implementing security measures in accordance with ORNISS specifications as well as ISO/IEC 27001
• Conduction of supplier audits to scale up existing international regulations
• Regular, direct reporting to management on the status of IT projects and initiatives as well as the overall system landscape

• Degree in computer science, information technology, military engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in a senior IT position, ideally in the defense sector
• Proven experience in building & structuring IT landscapes in a production environment in the defense sector
• Extensive knowledge of NIST and DFARS requirements and their implementation in practice
• Knowledge and certifications in the area of NIST (e.g. NIST Cybersecurity Framework), DFARS compliance and ISO/IEC 27001
• Sound knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, data management on prem and cloud technologies
• Very good Romanian and English skills, both written and spoken, good command of German is an advantage
• Willingness to travel internationally
