Embedded vision systems from Rheinmetall make classic imaging sensors ("cameras") "see" in an innovative way and enable innovations and new functions along the entire image processing chain and video distribution. We are looking for committed reinforcement for our activities in the area of Embedded Vision and Video Distribution.

You will take on the following tasks:

  • Developing hardware-related software in the area of embedded vision and video distribution as well as system functions, also without an operating system (bare metal)
  • Developing basic I/O systems, drivers and operating system connections, especially for Linux and QNX
  • Developing and implementing software architectures in the embedded area, especially in connection with imaging sensors, video compression and video distribution (e.g. video over ip)
  • Implementing hardware-related methods for image processing
  • Carrying out commissioning in-house or at our customers' premises
  • Documentation during development


  • Completed studies in electrical engineering / electronics / technical computer science or comparable
  • Interest in and experience with imaging sensors as well as with the transmission and processing of video data
  • Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. QNX, Linux) and embedded streaming methods (e.g. gstreamer)
  • Knowledge of circuit diagram and FPGA development (Xilinx, HLS) is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English and German
  • Willingness to travel
