• Technical leadership of technical development teams
  • Execution of technical and commercial effort estimations

  • Technical planning, coordination, management and control of projects (focus: air defense systems) from the proposal/concept phase through the development phase to the introduction and utilization phase

  • Creation of higher-level technical system architectures and technical concepts, taking into account interfaces as well as military operational framework conditions in the air defense environment

  • Analysis, identification and specification of system requirements and system interfaces using specialized tools

  • Assessment and responsibility of quantity structures, schedules and costs in projects

  • Development of the maintenance and change concept for overall systems

  • Coordination or creation of system documents in English and German

  • Execution of technical reviews and audits

  • Technical support during bid presentations and contract negotiations on site

  • Representation of the project towards internal and external parties




  • Completed technical studies in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, technical computer science or comparable training
  • Several years of experience in systems engineering at system-of-systems level desirable
  • Knowledge of system development, design and technical safety standards
  • Systems knowledge in the area of air defense/air defense desirable
  • Ability to analyze and present highly complex issues
  • Particular commitment, personal responsibility, ability to work under pressure and single-mindedness
  • Assertiveness and good communication skills
  • Fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
