• Responsibility for the development of modern turret systems and associated sub-systems (including surveillance, sighting and target acquisition systems)
  • Conducting requirements analyses at the system level
  • Preparing specifications for weapon, sensor or sighting subsystems and for interface requirements between turret and electrical/electronic architecture
  • Provide all relevant information and deliverables to the development team and subcontractors
  • Provide assurance to meet key performance requirements
  • Identify key risks and issues and derive strategies to address them
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering
  • In-depth knowledge as well as many years of experience in the development of turret systems, including surveillance, target acquisition and weapon systems
  • Experience with the integration of sensor systems into complex electronic architectures, e.g. fire control systems
  • Good knowledge of design as well as requirements management (e.g. DOORS)
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel
