• Cross-project maintenance and design of the interface between system development and software development
  • Review, harmonisation and coordination of the system software architecture approach in individual projects
  • Collaboration in the creation of the roadmap for the products of the Software division
  • Development, documentation and maintenance of system software architectures in coordination with the software architect of the department and the system architect
  • Selection and composition of software units (products) that are integrated into an overall system architecture
  • Specification and coordination of software interfaces, also across organisations if required
  • Support in the planning and implementation of system development
  • Creation and coordination of work packages for the implementation of the software architecture by the specialist department
  • Monitoring and supervision of the implementation of the work packages


  • Completed technical studies, ideally in the field of computer science, electrical engineering or comparable
  • Experience in system engineering, ideally as a system or software architect
  • Experience with an agile approach is desirable
  • Experience in Bundeswehr projects is desirable
  • Experience in the field of military command and control or communication systems is desirable
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering is desirable
  • Ability to analyse and present highly complex issues
  • Enforcement and good communication skills
  • Business fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Worldwide readiness to travel
