Development Engineer Algorithmics with a focus on Deep Learning (m/f/d)

Your tasks include in particular

• Extension and optimisation of the existing Rheinmetall Air Defence Deep Learning Pipeline for electro-optical target detection, tracking, classification and segmentation with C++ and Python
• Integration of this pipeline into a product: C++ implementation and optimisation on the hardware used
• Development and implementation of new algorithms in the field of artificial intelligence
• Design of system components in the field of air defence
• Implementation of algorithmic software modules in MATLAB
• Creation of system and interface specifications
• Analysing test results and creating studies and reports

• University degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Data Science, Robotics or comparable
• In-depth knowledge in: Artificial intelligence, deep learning in the field of image processing, system design, robotics
• Knowledge of at least one of these areas Image processing, network technology, electro-optical sensors (camera and laser technology), measurement technology, real-time systems, radar technology
• Very good user knowledge of Linux, C++ and Python
• Experience with NVIDIA's Jetson series and GStreamer or NVIDIA's DeepStream SDK is an advantage
• Very good command of written and spoken English and German
• High level of independence and ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
