Team Lead Network Defense (m/f/d)

• Technical and disciplinary management of the Network Defense team
• Responsibility for the conceptual design, commissioning, operationalization and further development of the services provided by the “Network Defense” team within cyber security
• Development, implementation and support of the portfolio of services for protecting the network from and to the outside world, such as DNS Security, DDoS and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Ensuring smooth operation as well as the creation and continuous development of operating concepts
• Ensuring compliance with security requirements for the services for which you are responsible
• Continuous improvement of the security architecture and further development of the security detection capacities of the services for which you are responsible
• Proactive support in the event of security incidents
• Performing an interface function between your own team and the other organizational units
• Management and control of projects as well as of partially international, interdisciplinary teams

This position can be filled at the locations in Düsseldorf, Kiel, Kassel, Bremen, Berlin, Neuenstadt and Unterlüß or, if necessary, remotely.

• Successfully completed studies in computer science/business informatics or completed training in the IT sector (e.g. as an IT specialist in system integration (m/f/d)
• Several years of professional experience in the relevant areas, e.g. network security, incident response, security architecture, etc.
• Comprehensive expertise and proven experience in the services, architectures and technologies for which you are responsible, e.g. Farsight, Radware, Cloudflare, Akamai and Infoblox, as well as their optimization and hardening
• Relevant experience in the area of network (security) architecture, security incident management, security monitoring, red- and/or blue teaming
• Strong coordination skills and a hands-on mentality
• Very good written and spoken German and English
