About The Team
Digitalisation, networking, cyber – the Electronic Solutions division encompasses the entire chain of effects in the system network – from sensors and the networking of platforms and soldiers to the (partially) automated connection of effectors. This is supplemented by solutions for protection in cyberspace. Other fields of action include extensive training and simulation solutions, in which the company has more than 40 years of experience. It also offers operator solutions for aircraft. The division consists of the following business units: Air Defence & Radar Systems, Integrated Electronic Systems, Aeronautical Systems, Products & Airborne Solutions, and International Projects & Services. As part of the RDA-IES department you will be part of exciting work streams aiming to deliver Land 400 Phase 2 Mission Equipment, Test Equipment for Complex Boxes, Simulation and Training and working to ensure that future bid submissions are successful.
About the Role
The Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) is responsible for coordinating and managing the Systems Engineering activities to ensure that the customer’s requirements are satisfied. This role will lead and develop the Systems Engineering activities for the Training Equipment and Mission Equipment (Electronics and Optics) to ensure that the Land 400 engineering activities are completed and delivered in compliance with the contractual deliverables.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering field or related discipline;
- Clear understanding of systems engineering process and functional baseline management from specification writing, requirements analysis and traceability through to system level design/architecture/interface, and requirements management;
- Experience leading a multi-disciplined team of engineering and technical staff;
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required;
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
