Supply Program Manager – Weapons and Ammunition

About the Team

The Supply Program Manager - Weapons and Ammunition is a key leadership position within the program delivery team, based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) in Redbank.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Program Director - Weapons and Ammunition Division with responsibility for coordination with project managers, procurement, subcontracts, logistics, warehouse and external Supply Chain partners. You will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of all external partnerships and procurement activities across the division.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes: 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Law and/or business commerce;
• Extensive experience implementing a variety of complex technical projects and/or procurement contracts;
• Experience in procurement function either as SPM or commodity buyer;
• Proactive attitude – a problem-solver;
• A people person, highly effective communications and team-building skills;
• Proven superior written and verbal communication skills; and
• Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance – NV1 (Australian Citizenship required).
