Service Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Carrying out periodic and scheduled maintenance on combat vehicles arriving to the Service workshop
  • Diagnosis and repair of defective combat vehicles in the Service workshop
  • Preparation of materials and parts requisitions for maintenance and repairs
  • Documenting repair work factually, generating and documenting fault reports
  • Managing the fleet of combat vehicles in the IT system set up for this purpose
  • Participation in training courses and professional courses
  • Testing of assemblies, sub-assemblies and systems on the basis of documentation
  • Troubleshooting in case of failures during testing
  • Ensuring compliance with the 5S method in the work area
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Mechanical or automotive mechanic, mechatronics or automotive mechanic, agricultural mechanic or heavy machinery mechanic qualification is a must
  • Forklift operator licence and experience an advantage
  • Crane operator licence and experience an advantage
  • Vehicle air conditioning technician (F-gas) experience is an advantage
  • Experience of fitting and reparing modern agricultural or heavy machinery
  • Experience as a forklift driver and bridge crane operator
  • User level computer skills
  • Knowledge of computer diagnostic systems an advantage
  • Minimum of a category B driver's license and driving experience
  • Willingness to travel internationally
