Cloud Administrator

Permanent full-time position (37,5 hours)

Hybrid (on-site 3-days a week)

 

Rheinmetall Canada is currently looking for a Cloud Administrator to manage and secure our cloud infrastructures.

 

Responsibilities

• Cloud Environment Management: Oversee, configure, and monitor cloud platforms, focusing on Azure, with the possibility of working with AWS, GCS, and others to guarantee operational excellence.
• Data Security: Enforce strict security measures to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Comply with defense sector-specific regulations, including ISO27001 and NIST standards.
• Incident Monitoring and Resolution: Actively monitor for and address security threats or discrepancies.
• User and Access Management: Control user access and permissions in line with security guidelines.
• Automation: Leverage automation to enhance efficiency and deployment consistency.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to integrate cloud technologies smoothly.
• Documentation: Keep technical documentation, incident logs, and SOPs current.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or similar role.
• Experience with cloud security, networking, and database services.
• 3-5 years IT experience in large hybrid environments.
• Azure Administrator Associate certification preferred
• Skilled in PowerShell, Windows Server 2019, M365, Azure, Active Directory, and Group Policies.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Dell, and other hardware.
• LINUX environment experience.
• VMware vSphere and cloud experience.
• The position is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, fluency in French is required.
