WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a development engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the holistic development of kinematic assemblies and subsystems in military vehicles.

Your area of responsibility will include the following:

  • Development, design and modification of kinematic and mechanical assemblies, such as hatches, doors, roof superstructures, protection components, etc.
  • Responsibility for assemblies and subsystems from concept development and design through to verification and series production readiness
  • Production support and change management
  • Independent creation of fully verified, production-ready drawing sets of subsystems, assemblies and individual parts
  • Technical support for external development services
  • Creation of work packages in collaboration with the team leader
  • Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, construction technology or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in the desired field is an advantage
  • Knowledge of welding technology or bonding technology
  • Knowledge in the control of external companies is an advantage
  • Confident handling of CAD programs, e.g. Siemens NX
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong ability to work in a team and independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
